Radiator Fan Control Amplifier: Description and Operation
Radiator Fan Control System
The ECU provides the ground signals to the radiator fan relays to control fan speed and operation based on signals supplied from the engine
temperature sensor, A/C switch and vehicle speed sensor.
Radiator Fan Operation (A/C Off)
Refer to the figure for radiator fan operation operation with the air conditioner off.
Radiator Fan Operation (High A/C Temperature)
Refer to the figure for radiator fan operation operation with the air conditioner on and the A/C output temperature is above 8° C (46° F).
