Wheel Hub: Service and Repair

    Refer to Fig. 6, when replacing wheel hub and knuckle assembly.

1.

Remove wheel bearing locknut, then brake caliper.

2.

Separate tie rod from knuckle using a suitable tool, Fig. 4.

3.

Separate driveshafts from knuckle, remove knuckle attaching bolts as shown in Fig. 7, then knuckle.

4.

Reverse procedure to install, tighten wheel bearing to specifications.
