REAR RH : Diagnosis Procedure

1.CHECK DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR
Check door lock actuator (rear RH).  See: Component Tests and General Diagnostics/Door Lock Actuator/Rear RH/Component Function
Check/Without Intelligent Key System.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES  - GO TO 2.
NO - Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
2.CONFIRM THE OPERATION
Confirm the operation again.
Is the result normal?
YES  - Check intermittent incident.  See: Testing and Inspection/Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview/Service Information For Electrical
Incident/Intermittent Incident.
NO - GO TO 1.

With Intelligent Key System

DOOR DOES NOT LOCK/UNLOCK WITH DOOR LOCK AND UNLOCK SWITCH

BACK DOOR : Description

Back door does not lock/unlock using door lock and unlock switch.

DOOR DOES NOT LOCK/UNLOCK WITH DOOR LOCK AND UNLOCK SWITCH

BACK DOOR : Diagnosis Procedure

1.CHECK BACK DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR RELAY
Check back door lock actuator relay.  See: Keyless Entry/Testing and Inspection/Component Tests and General Diagnostics/Back Door Lock Actuator
Relay/Component Function Check.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES  - GO TO 2.
NO - Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
2.CHECK DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR
Check back door lock assembly.  See: Component Tests and General Diagnostics/Door Lock Actuator/Back Door/Component Function Check/With
Intelligent Key System.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES  - GO TO 3.
NO - Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
3.CONFIRM THE OPERATION
Confirm the operation again.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES  - Check intermittent incident.  See: Testing and Inspection/Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview/Service Information For Electrical
Incident/Intermittent Incident.
NO - GO TO 1.

Without Intelligent Key System

DOOR DOES NOT LOCK/UNLOCK WITH DOOR LOCK AND UNLOCK SWITCH

BACK DOOR : Description

Back door does not lock/unlock using door lock and unlock switch.

1.CHECK DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR
Check back door lock assembly.  See: Component Tests and General Diagnostics/Door Lock Actuator/Back Door/Component Function
Check/Without Intelligent Key System.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES  - GO TO 2.
NO - Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
2.CONFIRM THE OPERATION
Confirm the operation again.
