1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2. Remove the in-vehicle sensor.  See: Discharge Air Temperature Sensor / Switch/Service and Repair/Exploded View.
3. Check the resistance between the in-vehicle sensor terminals. Refer to the applicable table for the normal value.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES  - INSPECTION END
NO - Replace the in-vehicle sensor.
