Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

CAUTION:
When replacing TCM and transaxle assembly as a set, replace transaxle assembly first and then replace TCM.  See: Powertrain
Management/Transmission Control Systems/Testing and Inspection/Programming and Relearning/TCM Replacement/Description.
1. Disconnect the battery cable from the negative terminal.  See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service and Repair/Removal and

Replacement/Removal And Installation.

2. Disconnect TCM connector.
3. Remove TCM.

INSTALLATION
Install in the reverse order of removal.
