Be careful not to let the filter element fall out.
13. Remove the twelve (12) bolts attaching the valve body to the transmission (see Figure 6).

These bolts are marked by color in Figure 6.
^There are three (3) different length bolts which are identified by:

Be careful not to allow the ratio control valve or manual valve to fall out (see Figure 3 and Figure 7).
