Throttle Body (Exploded View)
The throttle body, located on the intake manifold, is used to regulate the amount of air flowing into the engine, thereby controlling engine output.
It is made up of top and bottom halves. The top half is called the venturi chamber. The bottom half is called the throttle chamber.
The venturi chamber contains the following components:
