SERVICE INFORMATION
The configuration of the power steering idler pulley assembly for the Applied Models has been modified to improve durability and prevent grinding or
scraping type noise incidents.
The countermeasure idler pulley assembly has been applied to 1988 Trucks with the Z24i engine, produced beginning with the Applied VIN, and is also
available as a service part. The drawing below shows the difference between the former and the countermeasure idler pulley assemblies.
