Wheel Cylinder Inspection-example

Check all internal parts for scores, wear, rust and damage. Replace wheel cylinder if these conditions exist.

If wheel cylinder is serviceable, pay attention not to scratch cylinder when reinstalling pistons and always use new internal rubber parts to rebuild.
Use brake fluid (DOT 3) on internal parts during assembly.

Torque wheel cylinder mount bolts to 5.3 - 7.3 Nm (3.9 - 5.4 ft-lb)
