FRONT SUSPENSION INSPECTION AND ADJUSTMENT 

Wheel Alignment (Unladen *1)

Refer to image for vehicle ride height measuring points.

*1 Fuel, radiator coolant and engine oil full. Spare tire, jack, hand tools and mats in designated positions.

Preliminary Inspection

    Correct front wheel alignment is necessary to provide proper handling and to prevent uneven tire wear. To ensure correct alignment, angles should be
checked, and if necessary corrected, in the following sequence: caster and kingpin inclination, camber, toe-setting, and the turning angle and toe-out on
turns. Front wheel alignment should only be checked after ensuring that the rear wheels are properly aligned in relation to the vehicle centerline, as most
equipment uses the rear wheels as reference for correct front wheel alignment. Front wheel alignment should be checked with the vehicle at normal ride
height, and following equipment manufacturer's instructions.

    Prior to checking and adjusting wheel alignment angles, perform the following checks:
