Auxiliary Air Control (AAC) Valve: Testing and Inspection

AAC Valve Resistance Test

1.

Check resistance of AAC valve with an ohm meter.

Should be approximately 10 ohms.

AAC Valve Inspection

2.

Remove the valve and inspect the plunger for sticking.

3.

Inspect the spring for breakage.

Replace the valve if it fails the above tests.
