A/T Lock-Up Release Control: Testing and Inspection

Lock-Up Cancel Solenoid Test

1.

Disconnect transmission harness connector.

2.

Using an ohm meter, check the resistance between terminals 1 and 3.
Resistance should be approximately 25 ohms.

3.

Replace the solenoid if it fails the above test. Refer to TRANSMISSIONS CLUTCHES DIFFERENTIALS AXLES AND DRIVE SHAFTS
for replacement procedures.
