2. Install two hoses to each fitting and route them to the reservoir tank (Figure 3).

3. The hose connected to the pipe (B) should be immersed to the bottom of the reservoir tank and the hose connected to the collector (A) should be

placed just inside (not immersed) the reservoir tank.

Note:  See Figure 2 for hose location by model.

4. Place the temperature control lever in the full hot position.

5. Start the engine and run at about 2000 rpm for 10 minutes.  Race the engine 2 or 3 times.  Make sure coolant comes out of the temporary bleed

hose during this 10 minute period.

6. Check for the heater gurgle noise.  If the noise still exists, repeat step 5 until the noise goes away.

7. Install the short hose and save the long hoses for other vehicles.
