SERVICE INFORMATION

Some of the indicated models produced before the applied date may exhibit slipping or no movement in "D" range.  If a customer experiences this
incident, check for proper operation in 1st, 2nd and reverse gears.  If the transmission operates normally in each of these ranges, inspect the forward
clutch snap ring (see illustration).  If the forward clutch snap ring has popped out of its groove, replace the forward clutch assembly.
