FRONTIER; NOISE FROM REAR PROPELLER SHAFT CENTER SUPPORT BEARING

APPLIED VEHICLE:
2005-2009 Frontier (D40) 2WD and 4WD

IF YOU CONFIRM:

A noise from the rear propeller shaft center support bearing (center bearing).

ACTION:

Replace the center bearing with the applied part number (P/N) listed in the PARTS INFORMATION section below.

^ Refer to the SERVICE PROCEDURE section for repair procedure.

Do not replace the rear propeller shaft for this incident, if it should occur.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

Center Support Bearing Removal

1. Remove the propeller shaft assembly from the vehicle.

^ Refer to the Electronic Service Manual (ESM) as needed.
