SAE VISCOSITY NUMBER 
Gasoline Engine Oil 

SAE 5W-30 viscosity oil is preferred for all ambient temperatures.

SAE 10W-30 and 10W-40 viscosity oil may be used if the ambient temperature is above -18°C (0°F). 

VG33E and VG33ER

information regarding suitable fluids, including recommended brand(s) of DEXRON III, MERCON Automatic  Transmission Fluid.

*4: For hot climates, viscosity SAE 90 is suitable for ambient temperatures above 0°C (32°F). 
*5: Contact a NISSAN dealer for a list of approved oils.
*6: Genuine NISSAN PSF, Canada NISSAN Automatic Transmission Fluid, DEXRON III, MERCON, or equivalent ATE may also be used.
