Out of specification: Replace the sensor, then go to step 4.

Use a test gauge to check the pin fit of the female terminals in the wheel speed sensor connector (see figure 3).
NOTE:
The female terminals are in the sensor side of the connector.

Use the red OBD II connector test gauge (Kent-Moore J42992-4) or equivalent.

Tools and Equipment).

If the fit of the gauge into either of the female terminals is loose, replace them both.

If the female pin terminals are not loose (replacement is not necessary), this bulletin does not apply. Use the diagnostic information in the
Service Manual to further investigate the incident.

The replacement female terminal is J-38751-91 and can be found in the OBD-II Connector kit.
