Inspect for contact between the front bumper finisher and the fender (see Figure 1) and between the front bumper side bracket mount and the
fender (see Figure 2).

A.

If contact exists between either of these components, adjust the front bumper to eliminate the contact as outlined in step three.

B.

If contact does not exist between either of these components, look for other causes of the rattle noise.

Adjust the front bumper as follows:

Loosen, but do not remove, the four bolts that secure the front bumper mounting brackets to the vehicle (see Figure 3).
