Remove the sunroof panel by lifting the panel so that it stands straight up, then slide it toward the drivers side to release it from the hinge
brackets (see Figure 3). Place the sunroof panel in a safe place until it is reinstalled.

Remove the sunroof weather strip from the vehicle body (see Figure 4).
