Install one-inch squares of 1/4-inch-thick, adhesive-backed foam tape (3M Scotch-foam" 4504 # 021200-03320 or equivalent) to the headliner
panel near the sunroof opening. Place the one-inch squares every five inches around the sunroof opening, 1/8 inch from the edge of the headliner
panel (see Figure 5).

Reinstall the sunroof weather strip.

5.

Reinstall the sunroof panel and inner shade panel.

6.

Road test the vehicle to confirm the incident noise is resolved.
