Directly above this 25 mm hole, drill one 8 mm (0.31 in.) hole in the inside edge of the vehicle bed rail (see Figure 3).

Deburr both drilled holes and coat the bare metal surfaces with an anti-corrosive paint.

5.

Install the rubber grommet (from the kit) into the 25 mm drilled hole.

6.

Install the metal breather tube into the grommet and fasten the upper plastic bracket to the bed rail through the 8 mm drilled hole with the bolt and
nut from the kit (see Figure 4).

Installation of the EVAP System

1.

Install the EVAP canister.

2.

Install the EVAP vent control valve.

3.

Reconnect the two small diameter original hoses to the canister.

4.

Reconnect the vent control valve electrical harness.
