MAXIMA BRAKE PAD/SHOE REPLACEMENT

1989-94 Maxima (J30)

SERVICE INFORMATION

Non-asbestos organic (NAO) front brake pads and rear brake shoes have been developed for the Maxima (J30). These pads and shoes are effective in
reducing squeak/squeal type brake noises.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

If the customer is not complaining of brake noise, continue to use the current pad/shoes specified in the parts fiche for the model being serviced. In cases
of customer complaint of brake noise, verify if the noise is from the front or rear brakes and change pads or shoes accordingly with the parts listed below.
