1989-92 Maxima (J30)

SERVICE INFORMATION

We make the following recommendations for replacing the front disc brake pads on 1989-92, Maxima:

1.

If the customer is not complaining of front brake related noise, use pad P/N D1060-88E91AS. This pad should wear longer in normal service.

2.

If the vehicle exhibits front disc brake noise, we recommend replacing the pads with the following part numbers:

a.

Vehicle with complaint of low speed groan or grinding noise use pad P/N 41060-1E590.

b.

Vehicle with complaint of squeak, or squeal noise use pad P/N D1060-88E87.
