Mode Door Motor: Service and Repair

Air Mix Door Motor Removal

Install and Setup

- 

Install air mix door motor on heater unit and connect it to the body harness.

- 

Setup code 41 in Self-Diagnostics.

- 

Move the air mix door lever by hand and hold it at full cold position.

- 

Attach air mix door lever to rod holder.

Check and Verify

- 

Check air mix door operates properly when changing code from 41 to 46 by pushing the DEF button.

Code Sequence and Expectations 

- 

Changing from code 41 to 46 will cause a change from full cold to full hot respectively.
