Swirl Control Valve: Testing and Inspection

Power Valve Actuator Testing

1.

Disconnect power valve actuator vacuum hose.

2.

Remove power valve cover plate.

3.

Connect hand vacuum pump to power valve actuator.

4.

Slowly apply vacuum, valve should start to open between 4 and 8 in.Hg and should hold vacuum.

5.

Replace actuator if it fails to provide the desired results.
