    When performing this procedure ensure work area is clean. Do not use rags when cleaning parts, use nylon cloths or paper towels. Do not let
foreign matter enter or contact parts.

1.

Remove snap ring, then draw driveshaft out of pump, Fig. 23.

2.

Using a screwdriver, remove oil seal.

3.

Remove connector, then the control valve from front housing. Do not drop control valve.

4.

Disassemble remaining parts as shown in Fig. 23.
