Shift Cable: Adjustments

1.

Move selector lever to ``1'' range, ensuring lever moves smoothly and quietly.

2.

Move selector lever back to Park range and ensure lever locks properly.

3.

Loosen both locknuts, Fig. 1. Turn locknut (x) until it touches select rod end while holding rod horizontal, then tighten locknut (y).

4.

Ensure proper operation of transaxle selector lever.
