8.

Remove two screws from the lower trim panel (see Figures 6 and 7).

^ One near the fuse panel.

^

One above the accelerator pedal.

9.

Remove the lower trim panel; carefully pull it straight out-towards the driver seat. 

NOTE: 

There are 4 spring clips at the top edge of the panel.
