Remove the ECM Reprogramming card from slot A of CONSULT-II and install the Diagnostics (blue) card into slot A (see Figure 17).

CAUTION: 

Do not use slot B.

Turn the ignition switch "ON" (do not start the engine). Press CONSULT-II's ON button it it does not turn on automatically with the ignition
switch (see Figure 18).

Press "SUB MODE" and select "BATTERY CHARGE".

Refer to Figure 19. The vehicle battery voltage is "Charger Input". "Battery Voltage" is CONSULT-II's battery voltage.

It the vehicle battery voltage ("Charger Input") is less than 11 volts, charge it properly/replace it before proceeding with ECM Reprogramming.
