Roll down the driver's window part way, exit the vehicle, close the door and hang the CONSULT II unit on the outside of the window (see Figure
22).

Press "CHECK CURRENT ECM P/N" to confirm the ECM part number on the vehicle to be reprogrammed (see Figure 23).

NOTE: 

This is the ECM part number BEFORE Reprogramming.

Press "COPY" to print the current ECM part number for future reference. Then press "BACK" to return to the main menu.

Press "INITIATE ECM REPROGRAM" to display the available ECM data in the card.

Select the correct ECM program (based on the information in Chart A) to install from the choices on the CONSULT-II screen (see Figure 24).
