Ambient Temperature Sensor / Switch HVAC: Description and Operation
Ambient Sensor

The ambient sensor is attached to the radiator core support. It detects ambient temperature and converts it into a resistance value which is then input to
the auto amp.

After disconnecting ambient sensor harness connector, measure resistance between terminals (1) and (2) at sensor harness side, using the table.
