Solar Sensor: Description and Operation
Control System Input Components

The sunload sensor is located on the right defroster grille. It detects sunload entering through windshield by means of a photo diode and converts it into a
current value which is then input to the auto amp.

Measure voltage between terminals (1) and (2) at vehicle harness side, using the table.

When checking sunload sensor, select a place where sun shines directly on it.
