Radiator Cooling Fan Motor Relay: Component Tests and General Diagnostics

COMPONENT INSPECTION 

Cooling fan relay-1 
Check continuity between terminals (3) and (5).

Cooling fan relays -2 and -3 
Check continuity between terminals (3) and (5), (6) and (7).
If NG, replace relay.

Cooling fan motors -1 and -2 

1. Disconnect cooling tan motor harness connectors.
2. Supply cooling fan motor terminals with battery voltage and check operation.

Cooling fan motor should operate.
