SERVICE INFORMATION
If an applied vehicle has the following symptoms during wet weather or when slamming the door shut:

Intermittently all doors lock by themselves.
This incident, if it occurs, may be very difficult to duplicate. However, if it occurs it may be repaired by:
^
Replacing the door lock switch assembly and LH door hamess, and
^
Sealing the rubber boot of the LH door harness connector to the A-pillar with RTV silicone sealant.
^
Adding dielectric grease to the electrical contacts in the door lock cylinder switch connector and door harness connector at the A pillar.
Follow the Service Procedure in this bulletin to repair the incident, if it should occur.
SERVICE PROCEDURE
1.
Remove the LH front door finisher. Refer to the BT section of the ESM.
2.
Inspect the brown connector for the door lock switch harness (D1, D9) for any evidence of moisture (water condensation, droplets) and/or
corrosion (see Figure 1).
