Remove the left- and right-hand side trim panels from either side of the center console to access the ECM (see Figure 2).

Unlatch the ECM Connector by depressing the left tab (see Figure 3).

Rotate the black latch that holds the ECM Connector in place from left to right. Completely engage the latch at the right tab. See Figure 4.
