EGR Control Solenoid: Testing and Inspection
Vacuum Switching Valve

1.

Remove both hoses and harness, solenoid attaching screws and remove valve.

2.

Operate solenoid valve with battery voltage to determine if air flows through valve properly, Fig. 22.
