2. On air conditioner equipped models, checks should be carried out while the air conditioner is "OFF".
3. Make sure that diagnosis mode selector on E.C.C.S. control unit is turned fully counter-clockwise.
WARNING:

When selector lever is shifted to "D" position, apply parking brake and block both front and rear wheels with chocks.

Depress brake pedal while racing the engine to prevent forward surge of vehicle.
