A separate shrink tube must be used for each wire.

Position the shrink tubing so it covers the wire ends then shrink the tubing using a heat gun. Apply just enough heat so the tubing shrinks to size
and seals the lead.

After cooling, make sure the shrink tubing cannot be pulled off the wire by hand.

NOTE: 

Shrink tubing can burn or melt if overheated. Be sure the leads are completely sealed, otherwise moisture could cause corrosion and driveability
incidents.

Using 3M automotive electrical tape # 88, tape both sealed leads to the main harness.

Cut the connector from the middle injector lead.
*(Cylinder # 3 or # 4 ONLY) Cut close enough to the connector so you can use the pigtails for splicing.

Strip away the insulation so 3/8 in. of the injector harness wires are exposed.

Layout the injector harness with the tape identification portion towards the front of the engine. (Near the fuel pressure regulator). The Maxima is
identified with grey or blue tape and the 300ZX is identified with yellow or white tape.

Twist the exposed strands of the wire and insert the end of each wire into the appropriate sub-harness connector and carefully crimp each
connector. There are two different wire sizes for the injector and sub-harness wires. Make sure to connect the large wire of the injector sub-harness
to the large wire of the injector lead.

Make sure all of the wire strands are inside the connector.
