REBUILD PROCEDURE CORRECTION

This bulletin supplements Technical Bulletin ST86-005. DO NOT discard the original bulletin.

APPLIED MODEL: 1985-1986 Maxima

SERVICE INFORMATION

This bulletin corrects the tie-rod "L" dimension in the power steering gear rebuild bulletin for 1985-1986 Maxima vehicles (ST86-005).

INCORRECT TIE-ROD "L" DIMENSION

Step 27 on page 15/18 of the original bulletin contains an incorrect "L" dimension for the tie-rod length as 152.4 mm. This dimension should be 172.5
mm. Please make note of the correct dimension in your copies of the original bulletin. This dimension is shown correctly on page ST-22 of the 1986
Maxima Service Manual and also will be shown correctly in the 1986 Technical Bulletin Book.
