Open the vehicle hood and remove both windshield wiper arms as follows:

A.

Remove the wiper arm nuts.

B.

Lift up the arm and pull out the arm retainer (Figure 2). Hold the arm steady when removing it from the stud.

Close the hood and remove the windshield lower molding (Figure 3).

Trim excess sealant from the bottom edge of the windshield (Figure 4). Trim around the rubber spacers.

CAUTION: Do not pry against the windshield with any steel tools when removing excess sealant, this practice may chip the glass and start a crack.
