IF YOU CONFIRM:

A "tick" noise is heard from the driver's or passenger's front door panel

With the window rolled all the way up, and

^

Driving over rough or uneven road surfaces,

NOTE:

In some cases:

^

The tick noise may only occur when outside temperatures are below 60°F and/or after a long "cold-soak".

^

Tick noise may not be heard on rainy or high humidity days.

ACTIONS:

a.

Determine if this bulletin applies (see Service Procedure).

b.

If this bulletin applies, complete all items in the Service Procedure.

PARTS INFORMATION

Permatex(R) Clear RTV Silicone Adhesive Sealant-Item # 80050-(or equivalent) will be needed to perform one of the steps in the Service Procedure.
This product is considered a shop supply. Use a local source to obtain this product.
