Submit a Primary Operation (P0) line claim using the claims coding shown.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

Determine if this bulletin applies.

1.

Drive the vehicle over rough and uneven road surfaces.

a.

First try it with the windows all the way up.

b.

Next, try it with the windows mid-way down.

If the incident noise only occurs with the window mid-way down, this bulletin does not apply; see NTB03-090.

2.

For the side that is making noise:

a.

While parked, roll the window down, then roll it back up, all the way.

b.

From inside the vehicle, use one hand to push out the center of the window.

If tick or pop noise is heard, this bulletin does not apply; see NTB03-105.

3.

To further confirm this bulletin applies.

a.

Remove the door finisher (panel) from the side that is making noise.

b.

Drive the vehicle over rough and uneven road surfaces.

If the incident noise is eliminated (gone) with the door panel removed, continue with this bulletin.

If the incident noise is still heard, this bulletin does not apply. See steps 1 and 2 above.

SERVICE NOTES BEFORE STARTING:

A.

You will be performing various repairs to the door finisher (panel).

This will include applying cloth and foam strips and re-gluing a foam block.
