Turn the ignition OFF, then remove the intake ducting between the throttle body and the air flow meter.

b.

Use a clean dry rag or towel to wipe deposits out of the throttle bore and off of the throttle valve rim.

NOTE:

Cleaning fluid is not needed. Wiping with a clean dry rag or towel is sufficient for this procedure.

c.

Reinstall the ducting between throttle body and air flow meter.

d.

Perform IAVL per step 1.
