Trim off 2 to 3 mm from "Surface B" (see Figure 9).

CAUTION:

Do NOT trim "Surface A".

^

Do NOT trim more than 3 mm from "Surface B".

9.

Re-install the:

^

Small Slide Plates (in the finisher)

^

Lower Plastic Slide Finisher

^

A/T Console Finisher (re-connect vehicle wire harness)

^

Coin Trays

^

Lower Knob Cover

^

A/T Select Lever knob and Lock Pin

10.

Check to make sure the click noise is gone.

11.

Check for proper A/T Shifter operation:

Move shifter from Park ("P") position to Low ("L") position

Move shifter from Low ("L") position to Park ("P") position
