SERVICE PROCEDURE

NOTE:

Use suitable covers to protect upholstery, carpeting, etc. when performing this Service Procedure

1a.

Operate the A/T shift control and make sure you hear the clicking noise when shifting from:

"D" to "Ds"

OR

^

"Ds" to "D"

1b.

Push the Lower Knob Cover down to release it from the bottom side of the A/T Select Lever Knob (see Figure 2).

2.

Remove the Lock Pin from the A/T Select Lever Knob (see Figure 3).
