2. Check continuity between rear seatback power return control unit harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 4.
NO - Repair or replace harness.
4.CHECK PRIMARY POSITION LIMIT SWITCH (RH)
Check primary position limit switch (RH). Refer to See: RH/Component Inspection.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 5.
NO - Replace primary position limit switch (RH) [reclining device assembly (RH)]. Refer to See: Seats/Service and Repair/Rear Seat/Exploded View.
5.CHECK REAR SEATBACK POWER RETURN CONTROL UNIT OUTPUT SIGNAL
1. Connect rear seatback power return control unit connector.
2. Check voltage between rear seatback power return control unit harness connector and ground.

NOTE:
It is not low power consumption mode.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 6.
NO - Replace rear seatback power return control unit. Refer to See: Relays and Modules - Body and Frame/Power Seat Control Module/Service and
Repair/Removal And Installation.
6.CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
Refer to See: Testing and Inspection/Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview/Service Information For Electrical Incident/Intermittent Incident.

PRIMARY POSITION LIMIT SWITCH

COMPONENT INSPECTION
1.CHECK PRIMARY POSITION LIMIT SWITCH (RH)
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect primary position limit switch (RH) connector.
3. Check primary position limit switch (RH).

Is the inspection result normal?
YES - Primary position limit switch (RH) is OK.
NO - Replace primary position limit switch (RH) [reclining device assembly (RH)]. Refer to See: Seats/Service and Repair/Rear Seat/Exploded View.
