SERVICE INFORMATION

If you should need to replace the In-Cabin Microfilter for any reason, or if there was none originally and the customer elects to install one, there is now a
charcoal filter Service Part available. This new Service Part may help alleviate some in-cabin odors.

The charcoal filter can be installed in the evaporator case in the same location as an In-Cabin Microfilter.

See the SERVICE PROCEDURE for installation instructions.

NOTE: 

If there is an existing odor, depending upon the strength of the odor, it may take a few days of operating the vehicle with the charcoal filter (5-10
days) before the customer may detect a noticeable change.

The charcoal filter is installed into the evaporator case in the same location as an In-Cabin Microfilter.
