Rear Wiper and Washer System

Removal and Installation of Rear Wiper Motor

REMOVAL

1. Remove wiper arm. Refer to "Removal and Installation of Rear Wiper Arm, Adjustment of Wiper Arms Stop Location" .
2. Remove pivot cap.
3. Remove back door finisher. Refer to "BACK DOOR TRIM".
4. Disconnect rear wiper motor connector.
5. Remove rear wiper motor mounting bolts and remove rear wiper motor.

INSTALLATION

1. Attach pivot cap.
2. Install rear wiper motor  to the vehicle.

Rear wiper motor mounting  bolts Tightening Torque: 4.5 Nm (0.45 kg-m, 39 in-lb)

3. Connect rear wiper motor to the connector. Turn rear  wiper switch ON to operate rear wiper motor, then turn wiper switch OFF (auto stop).
4. Install back door finisher. Refer to "BACK DOOR TRIM".
5. Attach wiper arm. Refer to "Removal and Installation of Rear Wiper Arm, Adjustment of Wiper Arms Stop Location" .
