Pull the actuator from the mirror housing and disconnect the gray and black connectors. (see Figure 8).

Install a new actuator in reverse order of removing the old one. See the Parts Information for the correct actuator part number.

IMPORTANT:

When reinstalling the mirror glass, make sure it is snapped in place correctly. Push on the lower part of the mirror glass with both thumbs to
snap it into the actuator assembly.

Reconnect the negative battery cable.

13.

Check to make sure the mirror moves (power-adjusts) in all directions.

14.

If it has a heated mirror: make sure the mirror glass heats up when the rear defroster is turned ON.

Test it by turning the rear defroster ON; mirror glass should be warm to the touch within 2 minutes.

15.

Reprogram the radio presets.
