5.

FRAME AND SADDLE

a)

Get a helper to hold the frame up to the vehicle in the fully open position. (See ILL. 9). Install all eight long 10 mm mounting bolts and
torque to 20-27 ft.lbs.

b)

Mount the saddle to the frame with four short 10 mm bolts. Torque to 20-27 ft.lbs.

c)

Replace finishers C, B and A in that order. (Ref. ILL. 1)

FINAL ADJUSTMENT

a)

Position guide as shown. (See ILL. 10)

b)

Torque guide and striker mounting bolts to 20-27 ft.lbs.

c)

Check fire mount for proper operation. (open/close)

d)

If tire mount rattles in closed position, lower the striker 1 mm and check again. Repeat as necessary.
